Therco, LLC
In August 2020, I began working with college students at Trevecca Nazarene University’s Counseling Center. The pandemic was in full swing, and our counseling center was quickly adapting and evolving to provide telehealth for the student body. I discovered that I love working with the college population. There is something special about being on the verge of opportunity. In one sense, your adolescence is behind you, and navigating the life transition of being an independent adult stretches before you.
For many college students, there is this hunger. They want to try new things, they want to feel seen and heard, and taken seriously. They have so much to offer. For many, this is also a financially burdensome time. As part of Therco’s way of giving back, a limited number of college counseling spots are offered at an affordable rate of $40/session. I consider it an honor to sit with college students during this unpredictable time in their lives. If you are interested in one of these spots or know a college student that may benefit from counseling, please feel free to send them Therco’s contact info.
