Collaborative, Integrative Approach

At Therco, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Polly Douse, AMFT uses an integrative, attachment-informed approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic frameworks to try to meet you where you are and support the hopes you bring to therapy. An attachment lens provides a foundation for understanding how our experiences and relationships can shape the ways we connect, communicate, cope, and respond to ourselves and others.

Counseling & Therapy Services

At Therco, counseling offers a supportive, welcoming space to explore what you’re experiencing, better understand yourself and your relationships, and work toward meaningful change.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling provides a space focused on you—your experiences, emotions, relationships, challenges, and goals. Together, we can explore patterns that may be getting in the way and develop greater understanding, confidence, and tools for navigating life.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be rewarding, but they can also bring challenges. Couples therapy provides a space for partners to slow down, communicate more openly, understand one another, and work through relationship struggles together. Therco also provides premarital therapy for those considering marriage.

Areas of Focus

While every person and relationship is unique, counseling and therapy at Therco may address concerns such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression
